With a new stainless steel 22 ½″ long-range VHF antenna, you'll have additional reliability and an extended range to 9 miles, depending on the terrain. The new DC 50 also offers innovative bark detection technology, which alerts you if your dog is barking beyond audible range. In addition, it includes a rechargeable, long-lasting (26 to 54 hours) lithium-ion battery, plus rescue mode to prolong battery life in case of emergency
